  11. I hope someone will be able to help me.  I don't know what else to do.
  12. I've had an internet connection at home for about six months now and
  13. it's been a miserable six months.  I can't enjoy this one bit.  At
  14. first I was having terrible problems with strings of garbage and
  15. scrambling text.  It turned out that error correction wasn't turned
  16. on so I fixed that.  Error correction was not the default.  I've had
  17. the phone company here many times trying to correct the problem of
  18. static, but now that there's no static I'm still experiencing major
  19. problems and I simply don't know what else to do.  I don't experience
  20. problems with strings of garbage anymore, now it just gets extremely
  21. slow and I'm always getting booted out.  You don't know how many times
  22. I've tried to compose a letter, only to hear a click and get "NO CARRIER"
  23. at the bottom of the screen.  I could cry!  Sometimes I can't even get
  24. to my inbox, I get booted out right then.  It gets so slow, I can
  25. execute a command and then go brush my teeth or something waiting for
  26. it be executed.  Sometimes as I'm typing it takes seconds for the
  27. characters to show up on the screen.  I know I'll be getting booted out
  28. shortly.

  33. I'm ready to give up.  Sometimes I can't even get a connection, it boots
  34. me out before then.  I'm sick and tired of getting booted out constantly!
